Sadly missed
I was only fortunate to know Colin for a few years, but I will miss his presence and banter at the cricket club and on tour.
Will be sadly missed - but the bar will be quieter!!!!
I will miss you Uncle Colin.
Great character, will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with his family.
Always a cheery face and smile - you will be missed
Colin I will always remember the pleasure of your company.
All our love to Hazel, Elaine, Greg and all the family. x
Colin will always be remembered as a wonderful man, who gave everything to others around him. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. So many wonderful memories.
Simply a wonderful bloke, so many laughs, so much fun with a good helping of mischief thrown in. The best of the best!
Colin was one of the most cheerful and likeable people I ever met. He meant an enormous lot to everyone at the CUACO club over the years and is a sad loss.
Our thoughts go out to Hazel and the family.
In our thoughts Neil, Dawn, Ewan and Sammy
Thank you so much for what you brought to the lighter side of life.
My nephew Murray in New Zealand is running a half marathon in Colin's name for Cancer Research, with UK donations going to Prostate Cancer UK via this site. Good luck Murray and thanks.
This is the best way I can think of to remember a person who brought so much fun to so many people. Rest in peace, Colin.
I'm very sad to hear of Colin's passing. On making my Vets debut as a 29 year old & having done his & Normans running for them (they were about 25 years older than me to be fair) he encouraged me by telling me that I hadn't looked out of place. He will be missed
a great 'club' man
We have lots of lovely memories of Colin, his family and friends, over the last 50 years. Colin will be sadly missed for his fun, his humour and his outlook on life.
A great friend who will be missed by everyone
Thanks for all the encouragement you gave us and the many laughs. You really understood the true spirit of cricket and will be sorely missed by all.
Hope you and Norman are enjoying yourselves, lots of love to you both. Ann

Colin, always enjoyed the saturday afternoon banter & wit - least I think the word was "wit".
Colin, you will be much missed - from all your fellow athletes in the CUACO Football Vets.

We will always remember Colin with affection and he will be greatly missed.
I have such wonderful memories of Colin who was a true inspiration and mentor to me. He always had time to help me with work and he was such fun during our visits to our clients, who inevitably all become god friends too! My sincere condolences to Hazel and family Lora xxx
To our wonderful friend Colin ! What an amazing man, lots of super memories . Sadly missed , Sincere condolences to Hazel & family, Love, Carmel & Alan Xxx
What a great brother in law to have! We knew him for a very long time and he was right there to be the first to help. He was also a brilliant son in law. Nothing was too much trouble. Aways a laugh and plenty of ribbing, but never a cross word in all the time we knew him. We are so glad we had the opportunity to share in part of his life.
The best man to have in your team - very competitive, yet great fun on the field, in the changing room and of course in the bar! The master of banter, yet so caring and welcoming to the younger players that joined the fold.
