I first met up with Will at the start of the 1960/61 soccer season at the CUACO Lee Green ground for pre-season training. The following years often found both of us playing in the same eleven. Over the years friendship grew. Thanks Will, for the memories, for the sport, holidays and cricket tours. The Charcoal Burner will never be the same either as we will miss the wit and candour.
